There are lately many theories concerned with the changes in identity, both in anthropological field and artistic domain.
According to these a significant disappearance of the physical existence can be observed. Actually, it is about the idea connected to the distance denial, which, apparently would impede upon the openness toward other domains, such as the one of information, following them in all the places of knowledge and simulation, which themselves end up being denominated as “places of images”.
As a consequence, the contemporary images ought to take into account the change in perception. Nonetheless, we always find new particularities in video and photography art works, which are, in the meanwhile, perfect homologues of the reality, arising the proposition of the possibility of a simultaneous imbrication of the real world.
The vast majority of the photographic images proposed by the last generation of photographers strive to focus on a state of facts making use of the fascination of vision, emphasising on sublime of significance.
This form of expression (altogether with the photographies in the present exhibition) is the outcome of a special action, which enchants and fascinates the viewer, being the result of gestures captured during performances/actions.
